Mortgage Lending

Mortgage lending is a core practice area at Hatch Jacobs LLC. The firm is always involved in complex financing including the negotiation, documentation, and closing of mortgage loans on behalf of many lending institutions. The financing transactions range from a few hundred thousand dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars. Many of those transactions involve complex and multi-state collateral packages. We also assist with the foreclosure and enforcement of all types of liens and mortgage instruments. Those efforts often involve collection litigation, title disputes, and bankruptcy proceedings. Loan work-outs and restructure are also emphasized in an effort to expedite prompt resolutions.

Real Estate Development

With its many real estate clients, Hatch Jacobs LLC often involves itself in the annexation, subdivision and platting of real property. In this process, attention is paid to easements, boundary disputes, access and utilities. We have appeared before city councils and dealt with counties and planning commissions to maximize the value and utility of our clients' real estate holdings.

Foreclosures

Mechanic Lien and Construction Defect Litigation

The firm regularly represents clients in litigation concerning construction related disputes. Typically, those disputes involve mechanic liens and construction defects.
